Hello! My name is Katy Jones. I am one of the 3rd Grade teacher this year at Oak Ridge R-6 and I also coach cheerleading. This is my third year teaching third grade, I previously taught Pre-K for three years. I have Bachelors in Education from Southeast MO State University. I am an Oak Ridge Alumni and am thrilled to be educating in the school that helped mold me into the individual I am today. In our classroom we enjoy laughing, learning and all the hands on experiences possible. I believe in making a connection with my students, as its the best way that I can help them learn! My goal for my students is to help them grow into productive and responsible community members. It's always a great day to be a Bluejay!
