I have been teaching for over 2 decades -- starting with 5 years teaching elementary in private schools to over 20 years teaching math and English in public schools. This is my sixth year teaching math at Oak Ridge. I love being a Blue Jay, so I'm hoping to finish out my teaching years here.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I have a husband of over 25 years, Preston. Preston has never met a stranger; I am shy and awkward, so we work well together. He and I spend a lot of time hanging out together on the weekends and evenings. We have an adult son, Dominic, who makes life fun and interesting. He has lots of odd hobbies that keep him busy. The other three members of the family are our rescue dogs -- Cookie, Boris, and Tornado. Cookie is old and senile., Boris is middle-aged and starting to get fat, and Tornado ('Nado) is the hyper-active chocolate Lab who keeps tears up every random thing he finds.
