The Oak Ridge R6 School District is seeking applicants for the position of elementary principal for the 24-25 school year.
Interested applicants can obtain information about the position and apply by visiting the district website at:

Applications must be received online by 3:00PM, Monday, February 5, 2024.

After much consideration (& travel), Oak Ridge will be out of school today, 1-22-24. The temp is hovering at 31° and precipitation is falling. See you tomorrow!!
I am watching the forecast for tomorrow morning. 🌨️ A decision regarding closing will be made in the morning. Please be sure to be prepared with alternate plans for your kids in case we have to close.

Good evening! Here is the schedule for this week. Week of 1/22- 1/27.
Monday 1/22: No Games
Tuesday 1/23: HSBB vs Oran, JV/V starting at 6pm
Wednesday 1/24: HSGB Scott Miss Conference TRN @ Kelly HS. JV plays East Prairie (Championship Game) 4:30pm and varsity will play Charleston at 5:45pm in the consolation semi-final.
Thursday 1/25: HSBB vs Marquand (varsity only) 6pm; HSGB @ Kelly Scott Miss Conf TRN consolation finals 5pm.
Friday 1/26: No Games
Saturday 1/27: HSBB Scott Miss Conf TRN @ Oran TBA. Seed meeting is Monday 1/22 and I will send out the schedule when it is released.
I will keep you posted if we have any changes or cancellations. Good luck this week teams.

Calling ALL 6-12th graders!!!! IN 2 WEEKS, Join FCA for Dodge ball/board game night on Friday, Feb 2 from 6-8 pm. Two SEMO FCA students will join us. Enter your 5-person dodge ball team via the form in your school email (or that night). Snacks provided.

BlueJay Fans, I have some important news regarding the boys game tonight @ Chaffee. We WILL travel to Chaffee tonight to play the Red Devils, the boys game is on. JV will start at 6pm with varsity to follow and the bus will leave at 4:45pm. If you have any questions please let me know. See you all tonight! Good luck boys.
Oak Ridge School District will be closed today, January 19, 2024 due to poor road conditions. Stay safe and warm! ❄️
Please don't forget, Oak Ridge School District will be having a meet and greet at 5:30 in the cafeteria for our new superintendent Dr. Sonia Wood.
Here is what is on the athletic schedule for the rest of the week, but this schedule could change.
Thursday 11/18: HSGB vs Kelly, varsity only 6pm. Kelly does not have school tomorrow and will let me know about noon tomorrow if they are able to travel to our place. I will keep you posted.
Friday 11/19: HSBB @ Chaffee 6pm.
Saturday 11/20: HSGB Scott Miss Conf TRN @ Kelly vs Chaffee 11:15am.
I will let you know if anything changes with this schedule.

Wednesday, 1/17 @ SCC has been postponed. I'll send out the rescheduled date once it's been confirmed.
Oak Ridge will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 due to poor backroad conditions and extreme temperatures. Stay warm and safe!
Update with the game schedule this week. Both the boys game vs Kelly and the girls game at Crystal City have been cancelled for Tuesday 1/16/24. I am working on rescheduled dates for both and will keep you updated when a date has been confirmed. Again, NO basketball games Tuesday, 1/16/24.
